What does this program do?

This program is designed to calculate for you how many watts of audio power you need in an audio amplifier to drive your speakers in a two-channel setup and achieve satisfactory listening levels.

A minimum of 100db peak power is required in order for your system to have good dynamic range and an ideal number is 110db peak power or higher.

The calculations in this program assume your amplifier is capable of doubling its power output at 4 ohms versus 8 ohms.
